Many citizens who were probably completely unaware of the blog were made keenly aware of its existence by Ms. Cheatwood. Clearly, rational thinking would have prevented Ms. Cheatwood from using a public forum such as a council meeting to drive even more attention to a blog which isn’t exactly complimentary to her.

This is political communications 101. If your opposition says something unfavorable about you - don’t draw attention to it by highlighting it to a large audience of people and throwing a fit. The first thing people are going to do is …. go look up the information. Have I mentioned lately how glad I am I’m not involved in small town politics back home anymore? I seriously needed a break ….
